About Jon
Biography
Jon Robinson formed Strongpoint Law Firm to work for the wounded. He represents injured workers in claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and the Defense Base Act, as well as in personal injury lawsuits. He has served as lead trial and lead appellate attorney on numerous Longshore and DBA cases across the country.
In addition to his practice, Jon is an award-winning legal blogger. His new blog, the Longshore & DBA Review, is the highly-anticipated follow-up to Navigable Waters.
Jon also speaks at professional conferences and contributes scholarly articles on legal developments important to the Longshore community. Jon’s efforts for his clients and community led to his multi-year recognition by Super Lawyers Magazine as a 2013 Rising Star and by New Orleans Magazine as a 2012 Top Lawyer in New Orleans.
Jon's interests include reading fiction, the New Orleans Saints and the LSU Tigers.
