Glyn J. Godwin

Glyn J. Godwin was a referral. Maybe he did well with other cases, but not in my situation. He was given every piece of paper work he requested in order to work a case of wrongful death. He very seldom available. His secretary would try to be as helpful as possible. However, he made me believe h...e was working on the case and was full of lies. After leading me to believe he was actually doing something with the case, he kept me waiting for approximately 4-5 years only to come back to say there really wasn't anything he can do. Now, I am reading where he can no longer practice law. I am not at all surprised, he did us wrong in this matter. He just abruptly stated he was no longer representing us. I clearly see the reason without he be open and state the real reason.

Unbelievable. Never kept me updated and allowed every opportunity for defense to win the case. It was already unanimous by medical review panel that Ocshner was negligent and fell below the standard of care. Glyn was notified that Ocshner filed for writ summary judgement by appeals court and did n...othing. All he had to do was respond to appeal it. He knew of the judgement, did not inform me and did nothing allowing the case to be dismissed. Now every other attorney tells me I had a great case but impossible after the deadline was allowed to pass in this appeals writ judgement. Never trust him.

Mr. Godwin handled my case where I was in a motorcycle / car accident. He personally handled my case and kept me updated well. He fought hard and obtained a very fair compensation for me. Not only was he concerned about my health while he fought for me, he continued to show concern even after the cas...e was resolved. He showed concerns for all aspects of my life during that time and proved not only to be a fair attorney, but a very trusted friend. The accident was in 1994, and we still stay in contact. He really does know the laws and provides excellent information.
