Mrs. Turgeau has represented me 4 times in the past 11 years. The first time she represented me she was appointed by the court, at no cost to me, to represent me with a case dealing with the Office of Family Services which was due to the need for additional services for my handicapped child, after I... had exhausted all resources available to me, and needed a court order to get the Office of Family Services to use every and all available resources available to them to try to get all help available in the State of Louisiana for my child. In the end, she used every bit of her knowledge of the law to prevail in the case and get the orders needed to get help for my son. The second time she represented me, I hired her to represent me in a misdemeanor criminal case and was able to get the judge to listen to her on my behalf, after a public defender had failed to do so many times, and prevailed in that case as well. The third time I hired her to file for my divorce and ultimately received my divorce. At this time, she is representing my fiancé in a civil matter concerning his mothers estate. My overall opinion of Mrs. Turgeau is excellent. She is knowledgeable in areas of the law and is willing to go the extra mile for her clients, if need be. She is very personable and compassionate both for her clients and the law.
