Angela Cox Williams

Angela an incredible energy of smarts, knowledge and creativity. You can see the wheels turning in her head as she looks over your case. She represented me in my divorce and had to undo years of ineptness from my previous attorney and my ex's menagerie of legal consultants -- most of whom were frien...ds, relatives, etc and in oil and gas law. A complete mess. She gets down to business and cuts right to the chase -- yet she is friendly, kind and funny. Wish I would've called her first. She may not be taking new clients, though.

Mrs. Cox Williams represented me in divorce and custody matter. I had an emergency situation where my child was kidnapped by his father and taken outside of Louisiana. The police wouldn't help me and my former attorney who handled my divorce told me there was nothing I could do. I was referred to M...rs. Cox Williams by a friend who's husband had her for his custody and divorce. I am so glad I called her because Mrs. Cox Williams helped me file an emergency order that she personally took before the family court judge so I could get the police to help me get my son back. Mrs. Cox Williams and her staff are very knowledgeable. Other than the first appointment and going to court, I mostly talked to her staff, but they were very helpful and easy to talk to, which is really important when you are freaking out. I work in the medical field so the legal world was very foreign to me, but the paralegals were super helpful in explaining everything so I understood. In the most horrifying and scary situation I've ever had to deal with, Mrs. Cox Williams helped me get my son back, legally, and really fought for me. Mrs. Cox Williams was the second attorney I had to hire because the first one did my paperwork all wrong. I wish I had gone to her in the first place. I highly recommend Mrs. Cox Williams. Her price is not the most expensive, but not the cheapest either. I felt her fees were fair and I would have paid double because she was that good. If anyone needs an attorney for divorce or custody, especially if you need someone to fix what a former attorney messed up or you need to have an attorney help you with a emergency or kidnapping, don't hesitate and call her. Oh, and she is very hard to get an appointment with. I had to call 5 times and drop in the office before they squeezed me in with her. I suggest if you want to hire her you should be very persistent.
