Biography
Stephanie's general law practice now focuses on probate and estate law, as well as family law, including intrafamily adoptions. She has been practicing law for over 25 years, and is a past President of the St. Charles Parish Bar Association. She was peer-selected as a New Orleans Magazine Top Lawyer each year from 2018 to 2023 in criminal defense and workers' compensation law. She worked as a public defender from 1999-2006, during which time she defended hundreds of clients with misdemeanor, felony, and juvenile offenses. She has a background as a public school teacher and an administrative assistant.
Stephanie maintains office space in Covington, Louisiana, but no longer accepts Louisiana clients. She has been licensed in Texas since 2020, and is a member of the Smith County Bar Association. She accepts clients in Smith County, and nearby counties only.
