Brittany Victoria Carter

I hired Brittany to represent me in a divorce. Her lack of knowledge regarding the court system is deplorable. My husband filed a petition for divorce and requested in the petition only items he wanted. He never mentioned community bills we shared or items he was responsible for including a home he...'s collecting rent of and not paying the mortgage. Brittany didn't file a response to his petition and when the judgement was signed, she didn't file a response to it. Not only has this caused emotional stress on top of what I am going through, this has caused a financial hardship due to items she charged me that was never filed in court (consent judgement, revised consent judgement x2) and the extensive list of phone calls and emails between she and I that resulted in her saying the same thing with zero action accomplished. I hired another attorney and basically everything I assumed Brittany should have done was confirmed by my new lawyer.
