I hired Caroline Gabriel to represent my loved one regarding his sentence calculation and potential release from the Department of Corrections. At the beginning of our attorney-client relationship, she clearly stated that he should have been released in July 2025 based on his case and the law. H...owever, after I paid her fee, her position changed. She began relying on incorrect or inapplicable case law and no longer stood by her original assessment. She also appeared hesitant to challenge the Department of Corrections or pursue the matter aggressively once resistance was encountered. I was very disappointed with the lack of follow-through, clarity, and advocacy. Given the seriousness of a person’s liberty being at stake, I expected consistent legal reasoning and strong representation, which I did not receive. I recommend that anyone considering her services ask detailed questions in writing and ensure there is a clear plan before retaining her. She took my money and put up no fight for my love one
