Sarah Elizabeth Stogner

Ms. Stogner's commercial litigation practice focuses primarily on representing policyholders in an assortment of insurance coverage disputes, including those in the oil and gas industry seeking coverage under commercial general liability and well control policies.

Ms. Stogner also represents oil and gas companies in other actions, including land contamination cases, pipeline disputes, and products liability litigation.

Her prior experience includes assisting in the representation of a retailer and manufacturer in a redhibition and Louisiana Products Liability Act (LPLA) action, the representation of several different companies in defending slip and fall claims, the representation of multiple chemical manufacturers in thousands of personal injury lawsuits arising from unplanned releases, the representation of a power plant in a citizen’s suit challenging its Clean Air Act permit, the representation of a local university in obtaining Stafford Act funding after Katrina, and the representation of a construction company in Katrina levee breach litigation. In 2010, Ms. Stogner led a team of lawyers that reviewed more than 1 million documents over the course of 3 months in response to an administrative investigation by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
