Alessandro Steinhaus

Alessandro Steinhaus is an attorney with Pusateri, Johnston, Guillot & Greenbaum in New Orleans, practicing in admiralty and maritime, casualty, and insurance defense litigation. He represents vessel owners, offshore energy operators, marine contractors, London Market underwriters, and primary and excess insurers in Louisiana state and federal courts, managing matters from initial investigation through discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation.

His practice includes Jones Act and § 905(b) (LHWCA) defense, Limitation of Liability proceedings, vessel collisions and allisions, offshore platform incidents, products liability, transportation claims, and charter party and bunker disputes, together with coverage and declaratory judgment litigation, contractual indemnity and additional insured issues under master service agreements and the Louisiana Oilfield Anti-Indemnity Act, and subrogation analysis.
