Biography
I assist clients in matters involving insurance coverage, bad faith and extra-contractual damages, and insurance defense. I am also versed in the Louisiana Lemon Law, the Louisiana Unfair Trade Practices Act, indemnity and contribution, First Amendment and media law, and defamation and privacy torts.
Prior to joining the firm, I served as a Legislative Aide to Senator D.A. “Butch” Gautreaux in the Louisiana State Senate from 2003 to 2009, managing the Senator's legislative agenda and Baton Rouge office. I remain involved in Loyola University’s law program as an adviser for the First Amendment Moot Court Team and as a program assistant for the European Union Field Study Program.
I am fluent in French, both written and spoken, enjoy reading, sports, theatre and music, and attending civic and community activities.
