Good attorney

I am very happy with my results. It was a pressure work with Mr. Curson! Definitely would recommend him for legal representation. I was undecided who I should hire however I’m VERY pleased with my outcome! He’s a 10 out of 10.

A++ Highly Recommended Attorney!!!

Words cannot express how much gratitude we have for hiring Kyle. We were lost, felt hopeless and believed getting justice in our situation was a complete joke because the system railroaded us. Kyle not only understood the assignment but he over delivered. We weren’t treated like a client but like fam...ily. He helped reunite our son back with us, due to an unfair sentencing. He understood the law fully. He understood the issue at hand and made it his priority to do the best he could to ensure the right justice was served. He didn’t assume what could happen but provided factual data of what could happen, so we’d understand our best options. God sent Kyle to help us and he did just that on day one. His communication and negotiation skills are impeccable. Trust me on this. We spent a large amount of money on an attorney who did way less than Kyle did to help bring our son home. We couldn’t get those funds back. I wish we met him before we hired that attorney. His pricing is fair and well worth the performance and effort he will provide you. We highly recommend Kyle and will turn to him if ever needed in the future. We hope not but at least we know we’ve a bull on our side! This world is cruel and unfair. Justice isn’t what we’re told it is. If you’re seeking an attorney that will take the time to understand your issue and not view you as a money opportunity, then he is your guy! If you’re seeking an attorney to fight for what is lawfully right, then he is your guy! If you’re seeking an attorney who understands the law and will fight for the justice that you’re entitled to by law, then he is your guy! Again, highly recommended. Thanks again Kyle for everything! You’ve changed our lives!

Poor attendance and communication

He initially sounded very intelligent and supportive in helping me. He was late to every court date except the last, where he didn’t even look for me and we were last in court. He didn’t show up to the day I was supposed to plea. Now that I’m transferring my drug court and need a review hearing, he s...aid I would have to rehire him. He refused to negotiate and told me to take what was offered. Regardless if I was given a discount or not, the job should be to protect and speak up for your client. 10/10 do not recommend for any criminal charge.

Replied last March 03, 2026

My client swore under oath she was satisfied with my representation when she took a plea deal containing a Sentencing Agreement with a “downward departure”, in which the court deviated from mandatory minimums. I have never even seen a downward departure offered much less entered into the record. This required zealous litigation and ongoing negotiation spanning my attendance at 7 court hearings. Due to a time conflict, I could not attend an 8th hearing. Neither the court nor prosecutor batted an eye. I approached my client to make sure her concerns were addressed before, during and after the plea hearing. Client’s case was called far from last. Pursuant to the lawyer-client agreement (and industry standard), my representation terminates upon final disposition of criminal charges. As I explain this, client hangs up the phone and posts this review. I do not work for free.

Disturbing the peace, dismissed.

Originally hired Mr.Curson to appear for me while out of town for work. Not having high hopes of dismissal just needed someone to appear for me. Well many months later Mr.Curson was able to get my case of disturbing the peace completely dismissed. He kept in the loop of all court appearances he made ...and let me know what to expect worse case and best case scenario throughout the entire process. I am greatly appreciative of Mr. Curson and all he has done for me.

Worth while

Kyle was attentive and understanding. He helped to get me a quick and satisfactory outcome. He goes above and beyond, treats his client like people and works with you on payments and consultations.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
