Biography
My litigation experience has focused on appellate advocacy, education law and desegregation cases, criminal defense, and civil rights work. I have been an adjunct professor at Southern University Law Center, teaching basic and advanced Constitutional Law, Consumer Transactions, Tort Law, and Advanced Legal Research & Writing, for more than 10-years. My academic publications appear in journals including the Richmond Public Interest Law Review, University of San Franscico Law Review, University of Louisivlle Law Review, Louisiana Law Review, and the Southern California Interdisciplinary Law Journal. My publisched work has also been cited by the Louisiana Supreme Court. After graduating from Tulane Law School, I began my legal career as a judicial law clerk to Louisiana Supreme Court Chief (then Associate) Justice Bernette Joshua Johnson.
