Biography
Dixie was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and attended college at Penn State University, where she was a member of many on-campus organizations, including Sigma Kappa sorority. She came to New Orleans to attend Loyola University College of Law, and upon graduation, could not bring herself to leave. Dixie is now a happy resident of Uptown, New Orleans, where she lives with her hound dog, Boone. She is a member of the American Bar Association, and Jefferson Bar Association, New Orleans Bar Association, and Louisiana Bar Association – Family Law Section.

Custody/adoption
Dixie was able to get my adoption of my daughter completed. Her biological father is out of state and very hard to contact, by Dixie still succeeded to get the adoption done. My husband and I are very pleased and definitely a weight had been lifted off our shoulders.
