Sean Reagan graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law and was admitted to the Nebraska State Bar Association in 1999. Sean started his solo practice, Reagan Law Office, in 2000 in Plattsmouth, concentrating his practice in the areas of family law, criminal law, and juvenile court. Sean relocated his practice to Lincoln in May 2003, establishing himself in an office share in the city’s Haymarket District. Between 2008 and the end of 2922, Sean was a partner in Reagan, Melton & Delaney, based in the Omaha area. He left that firm and, as of January 1, 2023, re-establisbed his solo practice.
Today he still offices in the Haymarket area, focusing his practice in the areas of family law and criminal defense, as well as helping clients with estate planning needs, personal injury litigation, adoptions, and various other areas of civil litigation. Sean also serves as a mediator for various cases arising under the Parenting Act, such as divorce, custody, parenting time, and child support.
Although Sean’s practice is located in Lincoln, Nebraska, he represents clients in more than 28 counties throughout Nebraska. The common theme running through all of Sean’s work is his desire to help people resolve legal problems, often highly personal ones, with a minimum disruption to their lives.

Hiring Sean Reagan was the right choice!
Sean was the last of three attorneys I hired in a drawn-out attempt to modify a pre-existing custody agreement for my son. The first had to resign after taking another job, and the second I had to fire for taking no action on my pending case and failing to return calls and emails. By the time I got t...
"Sean is an excellent and aggressive advocate for his clients while remaining honest and fair in his representations to the court and opposing counsel."
"Sean fights to allow his client's voice and opinions to be heard by the court and to advocate for his client's wishes all while maintaining a professional demeanor."
"I have been the GAL in two custody cases that Sean represented one of the parents. In both cases Sean was a prepared advocate, protecting his client's interest and at the same time he tempered his actions to not cause undue harm to the family. This is a tough balance to achieve. As important, it was clear that his clients trusted him and they had confidence in his guidance and advice. Both cases resolved in settlements that protected the best interest of the children,"
