Greg has been working my husband and I on and off since 1980. Answer my calls always returns them when he has answers to share. He has taken on criminal cases, suspension. of DL- As I was 22 and not very nice at times he was always pleasant with me. He handled our adoption of our son. He handled m...y mother's trust and worked on our wills. Granted he was not always available but, You have to realize you are not his only Client. He Faces challenges everyday. Don’t ever use Gregory Pivovar for anything he will do nothing but lie to you, he doesn’t know what he’s doing, he is lazy and then makes up excuses why he was lazy, he will promise you everything you want to hear but won’t come through on one thing, and all he wants to do is makes deals on everythin...g so he never has to go to court so he will lie to you to get you yo take the deal. Greg let me down by not doing his job a few years ago and I tried to give him another chance to redeem himself but he did it once again. Recently He lied to me telling me to take what I was offered for parenting time with my daughter because the judge will give me less than what I was being offered if I took it to trial and made up some false excuse why she would. He knew the most important thing to me was my daughter. I ended up catching him in that lie but it was after it was too late he once again didn’t do his job and let me down. I would have gotten more time than what I was being offered. Greg lied because he wasn’t ready for anything when he had over a year and a half to prepare. Do not use him for anything at all. Years back he had lost his right to practice law he deserves to lose his right once again. I would give negative stars if I could on this review.

He was Court appointed so I get that he would not go 110% to help defend my friend but what he has done (absolutely nothing) miss a couple court dates, seen his client twice in 7 months he has been in jail, and not return any not one of his phone nor his concerned family members calls not once! Never... gave him any information requested such as court dates and what the charges even are that stuck. We called the district attorney and judges bailiff to have him removed or replaced with no luck . I can’t believe for someone that could be facing up to 20 years in prison (if the charges are even what we think they are we don’t know!) has their life in an “attorney’s hands” and this is what the state of Nebraska provided. It’s sickening and why he is still employed as an “attorney “ is outrageous and unlawful in my opinion. If you get this man as a court appointed please hire a private attorney some way or somehow or you out experience could be the same. And it is just not right . Very sad.

Horrible experience with Greg. He doesn’t listen and is hard to get ahold of. He doesn’t try hard to get charges dropped or plea them down to a lesser offense. He waits until last minute on everything. If you want to waste money on an attorney that won’t do anything more than a public defender will t...hen hire Greg. My biggest regret was hiring him!
