Very dissatisfied with Jeff. My case was a few years ago and the way it went with Jeff never left my mind. I’m a single dad who was fighting for custody after my child’s mother refused to let me see them. Jeff was unresponsive and even completely dropped the ball by forgetting to file paperwork causi...ng a delay in my case, prolonging the period in which I could not see my child. On one occasion, after not replying to my email question for days I texted him the question and he got mad at me for it and asked me to never text him again. Then there was a disagreement on what constitutes as daycare or school costs as I was paying all the tuition for Montessori and doing all the drop-offs and pick-ups. I was told that I could not be reimbursed for the school costs but daycare costs I would be. My child had finished the school year at Montessori and stayed at Montessori for daycare during the summer. Jeff told me that he and my child’s mother’s lawyer talked about it and THEY decided that THEY thought the court would not consider it daycare because my child was still at Montessori and I was paying “tuition” for it. Very unprofessional as that is up to the courts not what the lawyers THINK it would be deemed. I fired him after that. Unless Jeff takes his clients, their families, & his cases seriously now, stay away. My new lawyer took that to the court and they agreed it was daycare and I was ultimately reimbursed half the “tuition” cost for daycare. At the time I wanted to file a complaint with the Nebraska bar association and wish that I did. I still may.

Mr. Leuschen has been an exceptional attorney. He is new but yet very caring and understands the mistakes we make. He has managed to make my life continue and keep me on track with telling me the truth with tact. He has never been condescending nor made myself feel inferior. He has definitely change...d my opinions of Attorneys. Ive had the so called best of the best for a divorce action also a major accident law suit as I was the victim. Mr. Leuschen is definitely very much to appreciated. Hes always in contact, swift, and makes his clients feel the are his only one. Other Attorneys should definitely watch him and learn.
