Yes, Nebraska law would apply and you should be able to get your PTO paid out. Hire a lawyer and have them recover your PTO and fees.

Never legal to lie, or prevent others from getting the help they are required to give. Get a lawyer and fight them.

Just have someone read/write for you while talking the class. It should not be a problem. It is always best to have an attorney help you.

Nebraska is a bad place to get into a dispute with your employer. Get a note from the Doctor and you should be ok if tested.
