My unit was playing around with my NCOER and my PCS award . I was being bullied and black balled . I called Mr Carpenter and he got things squared away for me . Most importantly he restored my name . I know my constitutional rights, and I protected myself as much as I could. When I saw that command, is just looking for the path of least resistance. I had no choice but to hire an attorney. I would like to see an independent body that would be over the command that were legal trained to discipline infractions committed be soldiers. I don't believe the military should be policing itself with incompetent officers with no legal training. I have not had any legal action until now almost 20 year in my career. I have served honorably, and have been fighting this countries wars, I have made many sacrifices for me country, and I have the scars to prove it. If it was not for Mr. Carpenter, I would have been railroaded by the the command, and would have been discard by the military that I loved serving. We are asked to give everything to our careers, and to be a selfless servant. When someone makes an allegation against me. I have to fight like hell to prove the lack of evidence and total disregard for my character and hiring an attorney. I don't regret hiring Mr. Carpenter one bit, but we should not have to hire attorney. Mr. Carpenter saved my career, and I am very grateful.
