Fully acquittal- Sexual Assault

Currently stationed in JBLM, I was really in a dark place for over a year. I was lied on by CID saying I confessed to a crime that I never committed. After about 15 hours of investigation I knew that I would have needed a powerhouse attorney. Mr. Carpenter instantly took my case and stayed in contact... any chance he could. He takes over a court room with his presence, and never gives prosecution a chance to build momentum. He saved my life.

Tireless

Mr. Carpenter was there when I needed him. He took the time to understand my case and put me at ease with his honesty and familiarity with military justice. He never stopped trying to get the best result possible for me and worked to advocate on my behalf at every opportunity. Without his support,... I would have felt lost and helpless. Instead I felt confident that the outcome would be favorable and it was. No doubt I would recommend Stephen Carpenter to any military member in need of a attorney. You will not be disappointed.

Highly recommend Mr. Carpenter!

When you're in court you want a lawyer who will crawl, kick, and scratch for every inch of ground and advantage you can get. Mr. Carpenter did this for me. He's very intelligent and able to articulate what is best for you. He also took the time and effort to understand every single aspect of my case.... Absolutely would hire him again.

Ft. Campbell, Kentucky enlisted panel simply considered the most important evidence in finding you "Not Guilty" of each Article 120, UCMJ offense. Best wishes in the future after the full acquittal.

Consummate professional and military law expert

One day in December 2014, CID informed me that I was under investigation for actions that I allegedly committed eight years ago. My case was difficult since a great deal of time had passed, and any evidence in my favor was lost or forgotten. With protecting my reputation and 24-year career at the for...efront, I canvassed several successful former military litigators and each recommended hiring a civilian attorney, specifically Mr. Carpenter. Despite his caseload and the lack of evidence in my favor, he took my case and developed my defense. From the beginning, Mr. Carpenter lent calm to the situation. He succinctly outlined what confronted me, depending on the results of the investigation and the Government’s actions. Mr. Carpenter spent the next four months communicating with the government counsel concerning my circumstances. No matter where I was in the world, Mr. Carpenter answered my calls and kept me abreast of the developments. He drafted my rebuttal and prepared me for the meeting with my commander. His knowledge of the UCMJ, expert counsel, and legal assistance ultimately improved the outcome from a probable show-cause board or court martial to a local letter of reprimand. I highly recommend that you retain Mr. Carpenter to represent you. He is worth your career.
