Retained by Board of Inquiry

I hired Mr. Carpenter to represent me at my Board of Inquiry (BOI). Mr. Carpenter was patient and dedicated to representing me at this complicated hearing. The case was unique and needed someone skilled in military law and psychology. He aggressively responded to the false allegations against me and ...was determined to restore my character and credibility. As a man of faith, my attorney needed to understand my faith and the position I held in the military. Mr. Carpenter was God-sent and needed at my BOI. I was hesitant about hiring an attorney, but with the culture of the military today, it is a necessity to hire someone outside of the influence of the military. I won my case with the help of God and the expertise of Mr. Carpenter.

Unbelievable GOMOR

Mr. Carpenter was professional, polite and relentless. I dealt directly with he and his staff in what appeared to be my best outcome given the government's completely disorganized GOMOR process with 51% preponderance being a thing of thr past. Call Stephen the second an issue arises and exercise your... 5th amendment right. Thanks for a great outcome Mr. Carpenter.

Glad the GOMOR was torn-up, in this day and age, with all the extreme views, active duty members are still undoubtely entitled to fundamental due process.

Dedicated Lawyer who gets Results

Mr. Carpenter is a dependable and reliable lawyer. He is a top professional that listens to his clients concerns and addresses their issues with a strategic approach in which the Military will respond. He got Results, Responses, and Feedback that I could have never gotten without his attention to det...ail and persistence as a lawyer. I was retained after facing a Qmp for over a 3 year process! I recommend Mr. Carpenter to anyone who needs a lawyer in the Military to call him ASAP.

Sexual Assault Allegation - General Court-Martial Case Dismissed

At the beginning of this process, I was unsure what I should do being in the military. There was nothing bad to say about my military attorney and their defense team; however, it was only until I received notification the government was pushing for a General Court-Martial, being the maximum level, th...at I started looking for a civilian attorney with many years of experience. I was able to give Mr. Carpenter a call and scheduled a consultation within a few days. At the end of our conversation, I was given a new breath of hope to fight this allegation and decided to hire Mr. Carpenter as my attorney. Mr. Carpenter was able to be by my side during the Article 32 hearing, and I did not feel ill at ease once. He was very straight forward with information, let me know what to expect in the up coming months, and how he will tackle my case. He was always professional and I never once doubted his expertise or decisions. 1.5 months before the scheduled court date, Mr. Carpenter gave me news of the dismissal and I had nothing but thanks for the work he had put into my case. After the dismissal, the government and my command still decided to issue a letter of reprimand not knowing the full story, and I now await a separation board in 2022 after almost 1.5 years. I was not able to retain Mr. Carpenter as my attorney any further due to unforeseen financial circumstances; however, he did offer tactical consulting on my board case pro bono. Again, I have nothing but appreciation and respect for this man. I hope any who reads this can make an informed decision like I did.
