Kurt has changed my opinion (somewhat) about attorneys. He helped me so much after my father's death for a nominal fee. Kurt has grown up into an absolute perfect man and from what I hear in the community, a highly respected attorney. Kudos to Kurt!
Poor attorney. Will abandon you before trial begins.
We hired Kurt Harper of Sherwood, Harper, Dakan, Unruh & Pratt, LC to defend us in a labor dispute. After providing all the documentation, information and evidence to Harper, he charged us an exorbitant amount of money to "process" the information, which means his assistant assigned numbers to the documents for over $200/hour (assistant fees). All in all, we paid him over $25,000 and less than 2 weeks before trial began, with several deadlines in the next few days, he "withdrew" from the case, leaving us without representation and in a panic to try to find another attorney. I would not recommend having any dealings with this firm or this attorney at all. He is not trustworthy or dependable and even with a great amount of supporting evidence, he cannot do his job to prove a case.
I have served on the board of directors for the Wichita Symphony Society for over 25 years. I am also an active Rotarian, having served as club president of one of the largest and oldest clubs in the world.
