Allen B. Angst

In 2017 Allen represented me in a case that I later found out was considered a stand your ground situation, as I injured a individual due to an attempt at sexually assaulting my wife at the time and the individuals friends 6 of them attempting to attack me. I was sentenced to 2 years and I have to r...egister as a violent offender for 15 years. An attorney friend of mine after my release reviewed my case and told me of at least 5 things the prosecutors did wrong and how my lawyer ALLEN was incompetent.

Allen Angst refuses to help his clients and does not make any effort to defend his clients in court no matter how detrimental the case. If he does have any legal skills they are definitely not shown. He is in this career for the money and not for the cause! Will argue with his clients in the middle o...f their court (as if they aren't worried enough) and seems spiteful and unwilling to deal with clients or take their concerns or comments into consideration. Is know to disregard any helpful evidence and will not respond to his clients or their families reaching out. He was contacted by my fiance multiple times after his trial to find out the stipulations, the length of his release date and an appeal request and he never responded. I then contacted Allen Angst multiple times by phone and email (during and after business hours) and never received a response or answers, seemed to be avoiding my concerns. He does not have his client's best interest in mind and is not helpful. He should have his license revoked, to be honest. If I could have left zero stars for him I would have. If you get Allen Angst as a public defender please do yourself a favor and ask for a different lawyer if possible and if not your best bet would be defending yourself. I'm not trying to be insulting however Allen Angst was not helpful in my fiance's (who I am writing this on behalf of) case at all.

Allen Angst represented me in a misdemeanor case that originally started out at the Municipal court level and then proceeded up to the District Court level, which made the case feel long and drawn out. During this time Mr. Angst was very informative, supportive, and professional. I would highly recom...mend Mr. Angst for any of your legal needs.

This attorney is also a public defender. This public defender has no ethics no morals no standards and he simply don't care about his clients. This attorney used to be a great hired attorney that has all changed. Mr. Angst while he was appointed to represent me came to court drunk. Not once, not twic...e, but every time he has shown up to represent me. This man has no business with the authority to practice law. He does not conduct himself with the professional manner in which he should. If your thinking about retaining this attorney for anything especially a legal issue; dont waste your time or money..
