Unhappy customer
Mr.Ong was rude & unprofessional. We used him to handle the paperwork, etc. after my dad died. He overlooked the fact that my dad had over $6000 in a bank under his LLC. Replied last June 11, 2018Not surprisingly, there is much more to this story, and its a good one [more below]. As our description states we do both estate planning as well as helping families with probate and Trust administration, please give us a call. Now for the good stuff: the writer of this "complaint" does not mention that we identified her as someone trying to take unfair advantage of her mother to disinherit a sister. We required that we meet alone with her mother, who once alone did not actually want to favor one daughter over the other. The "undue influencer" was mad when we refused to go along with her plan. We had helped the mother with some probate matters, but there was more to do when the daughter demanded her file and left to go find anther attorney that would presumably do what she wanted. We have no idea how this ever played out, but we have kept our copy of the file because we expect the family will end up in litigation one day. Who says Wills and probate law is boring!

Unresponsive and not helpful
I would not recommend him to anyone. He is also very unresponsive and lacks the proper communication skills a lawyer should have. My dealings with him have been a complete nightmare. It is like pulling teeth getting him to respond to emails and phone calls.

Replied last February 27, 2015Our practice is focused and limited to estate planning, probate and Trust administration, and probate and Trust litigation matters in both Kansas and Missouri. We no longer accept guardianship matters but are happy to refer clients to experienced counsel. We also decline some matters if it does not appear from our 20+ years of experience, that we can achieve a positive result or if our recommendations do not match what the potential client is seeking.
