Shea Elizabeth Stevens

I hired Shea to represent me as the respondent in a grandparents visitation case. She handled it for a while but never seemed terribly concerned about the outcome (even though she knew I was a single mother with a then 3-year old child and no support at all; it was just me fighting for what was in m...y child’s best interest). She was happy to take about $5,000 of my money though, to do absolutely nothing for me throughout mediation process, leave me without any signed agreement to just uphold my end if it (which was clearly never even agreed upon or legally enforced), disappear from my case, leave my countless emails and phone calls to both her and her garbage assistant Diana unanswered for months, until I finally had no choice but to start over with another attorney. All of which I did from out of state, alone, and bewildered as to why she would leave my case and worst of all LIE about the reasoning why (which I have from her in writing). This mess of a human and worse of a “lawyer”, if she could even call herself that after being so disgusting to throw her own clients under the bus, owes me $5,000. I hope NO ONE ever has to endure what this POS did to me, and I know there is a special place for people who do things like this, to those who are most in need of their honest help. Great news Shea, I hired a REAL lawyer, and I WON. So you didn’t break me after all, and I hope anyone who reads this will heed it as a serious warning..:.this woman will ruin your life by her complete disregard of the things that matter the very most to you- your family; your children; your own livelihood. STEER WAY CLEAR. Awful awful person.

I hired Ms. Stevens to represent me in my divorce. After spending almost 6 months racking up billable hours while getting pushed around by opposing counsel I have still yet to see a courtroom, an offer, or even a response from my spouse's side. Ms. Stevens proved to be inept as an attorney in almos...t every way possible, and I found out this week that she left her position to join the firm we are fighting in my case. She never once mentioned a conflict of interest to me and never notified me at all the she would be joining the other side. I was notified by the firm after she was already gone.
