Biography
Attorney Eric Blevins emphasizes DUI, Traffic and Criminal Defense in his practice. Prior to joining the firm, Eric spent over six years prosecuting for the City of Overland Park.
During his time there he successfully handled hundreds of Driving Under the Influence, theft, shoplifting, assault, battery, and prostitution cases as well as all manners of traffic infractions. Eric learned the fine intricacies prevalent in all criminal cases, but specifically in the DUI arena. He attended multiple training courses presented by the Kansas Highway Patrol, National Highway Transportation Safety Administration, and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation. During his time prosecuting, he gained not only jury trial experience, but also experience at the Kansas Court of Appeals level.
Eric has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, a Master’s Degree in Law Enforcement Management, and a Juris Doctorate Law Degree, all from Washburn University. While earning his undergraduate degree, he completed an internship with the Kansas Highway Patrol, participating in DUI saturation patrols and checkpoints, in addition to logging countless hours working with law enforcement agencies.
