As a born-and-raised Kansan I am proud to be licensed to practice law in my home state. My law practice focuses primarily in Johnson County.
I am an honors graduate of Louisiana State University, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. My drive and determination come from my years as a competitive swimmer for the LSU Swimming & Diving team. I earned my J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law, where I was the recipient of the Janean Meigs Memorial Award. The award is presented to students who are committed to their communities and service to others.
Upon graduating from law school, I served as a domestic violence prosecutor at the Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas. I began the Law Office of Carly E. Farrell, LLC in January 2010. The firm's name changed in Summer 2012 to Boothe Law, LLC and in January 2014 to Boothe Law & Mediation, LLC.
I serve on the Johnson County Bar Association Board of Directors and Heartland Mediators Association Board of Directors. I am a member of the Johnson County Family Law Inn of Court, Johnson County Bar Association, Heartland Mediators Association and Kansas Bar Association. I am a Johnson County Bar Fellow supporting the Johnson County Bar Foundation. I was selected as a 2015 Rising Star Super Lawyer. My husband and I are proud parents of a daughter, son, and two dogs.

Carly Boothe will become emotionally involved in case management. She is more than willing to be biased. She will not listen to therapists and disregard truth when it contradicts her assumptions. Carly Boothe should not be anywhere near children. She is comfortable with ruining children’s lives a...
