Thomas Joseph Connors

It is a truth universally acknowledged that no matter where he shows up, Thomas (“Tommy”) Connors is fully equipped to do battle. When Tommy takes on a case, his clients reap the benefit of his considerable knowledge, intense personal investment, as well as his ready sense of attending law school, Tommy successfully completed the Air Assault Course—“the hardest 10 days in the Army”—and became a member of the 101st Airborne. He spent years enduring physical and mental challenges that naturally come with serving in the military. Tommy served his country proudly in Iraq during some of the most difficult times of the War on Terror.

After the Army, Tommy attended Pittsburg State University and spent a short stint as a high school history and government teacher. During that time, he helped coach cross-country and long distance running for track and field. Prior to opening his firm, Tommy worked for the Kansas Corporation Commission (“Commission”) as a law clerk for several years working on complex energy law matters. After his stint with the Commission, Tommy joined the Citizens Utility Ratepayer Board (“CURB”) as litigation counsel. For over three years Tommy litigated against the biggest utility companies in the State of Kansas (Westar, Kansas City Power & Light, Kansas Gas Services, etc.) to keep utility costs down for Kansas ratepayers.

After his stint with CURB, Tommy started his own law firm, Connors Law LLC, in order to help clients in the practice areas of family law, criminal defense, and other civil matters. Through his legal experiences, Tommy developed two rare gifts. The first is the understanding that all people, no matter where they are from and what they do for a living, are searching for superb legal representation. The second is Tommy’s humility in helping them achieve that. There is not a better ally in a difficult fight than Tommy Connors. Tommy believes deeply in helping those in need.
