Carol took minimal time to discuss what actually happened. She had preconceived notions and made her own judgment as to what the outcome would be. She did not defend me whatsoever and I was just lucky that the person pressing charges - my now ex-husband - didn't pursue anything more. These charges... should have been dropped. I was the one who had all of the pics of bruises from his beating me the night before. The hair that the Olathe PD had to pull from my head because he had pulled me by my hair up two flights of stairs, knocking me unconscious...Yes, I drank a 1/2 pt of vodka...I seriously didn't know how to cope with finding out that my husband had been having an affair, had taken all of the retirement savings out...without my knowledge, had a serious porn problem, and ABOVE all had stopped paying any credit bills in my name, including the mortgage....Carol did NOTHING to address this. I have never had an issue with the law prior to this past 2 months. She didn't do a thing to address this or defend me.
