Brett was my third attorney hired for my more than six year long child custody case. A while ago, I decided to take the leap of faith and choose to find a lawyer to help me obtain a custody agreement. Brett Schneider is BY FAR THE BEST ATTORNEY IN TOWN, in the state for that matter. I was in the middle of a nasty custody battle when my ex did something unheard of. I hired one attorney, with a 2,000.00 retainer fee (I will spare his name at this time) who did nothing. He filed a motion to set aside... and literally sat there and said nothing as my ex's attorney went on and on and didn't even share my evidence with the judge. After this I realized he is not a shark, he isnt someone that is going to fix this, or even speak on my behalf. I fired him and he respectfully tried to save his name so he gave me the name of another attorney to talk with. I went to visit him and he charged me 300 dollars to tell me there was nothing I could do, to basically give up. I was not going to give up, so my husband said we should call his divorce attorney (Brett Schneider) and see what he says. We made an appointment to go in, talked for a while, and he assured us there was several options. Needless to say, long story short. Brett made several attempts and did everything my husband and I asked of him. He absolutely did everything in his power to make sure things were made right. During this entire agonizing struggle (roughly six months) he communicated very well, weekly for that matter, if not daily. He answered every single email, call, and returned each voicemail if he were busy. He made sure I was clear on every little detail and made sure to relatively say whatever I wanted in court. In the end i got my two wonderful children back! He did what several other attorneys couldn't do or told me was impossible. If you need a shark, he is it! He is outspoken and is not afraid to say what needs to be said to get a point across. That being said, he is extremely tactful and pleasant as well. He also has a great since of humor and is easy to talk to. If you are looking for an attorney, he is the way to go! He made what many said was impossible, possible! His paralegal is also amazing! Communicated very well and called me when Brett was not available. Overall, five stars is just not enough to rate them!
