Brett A. Schneider

Being out of state I couldn't depend on just anyone. For nearly a year Bret worked on my case without ever meeting me in person and attended every hearing on my behalf. It was a long case, and felt like a losing battle most times, but Bret kept at it and not only got an absolute amazing judgement, ...but he helped me get through the whole process without going insane.

We ended up settling out of court in my modification case, but I have no doubt Brett would have mopped the floor with the opposing party. I should also mention that Mr. Schneider has trustworthy billing practices. There were no over charges or getting billed at the attorney's rate for work the paralegal performed. He even got some court fees refunded to me due to untimely filing of some documents by the court reporter. In addition to his superior legal skills, Brett is a genuinely nice guy. My wife's father passed away during our case, and he sent a nice plant and a card with condolences, as well as, sincere condolences in person. You won't find a better attorney, so stop looking and hire Brett Schneider.

Brett was honest from the very beginning. Even if it was something he knew I didn't want to hear, he told me exactly what I needed to know. I felt he genuinely cared about how the case outcome affected my child. His receptionist is always professional and friendly. On multiple occasions I had to brin...g my son with me to his office. He was never treated like an inconvenience or burden, and was offered some blocks to play with while I met with Brett in the other room. His prices are fair and easy to understand. Brett seems like he has become a part of the family. Hired by us to defend a child custody battle. From the initial consultation to the very end, He was honest, ethical, and sincere with our desires. Spending ruthless hours making sure that all the bases have been covered prior to any and all court... hearings. From the very beginning over two years ago we hired Brett to defend a Modification custody order. He was honest with us and made sure that we knew, good or bad, to be completely honest with him as well. Never once did we ever have to question his billing. In fact, I would say that on some occasions he took it personal and made it part of his time. Just a part of his upstanding ethics. I won't tell you that he was perfect, as many times in this process it is a throw of the dice. Just as he told us from day one, all we can do is put together our case and convince the judge. I can say however that he never made us feel like we where the only client in the world that mattered, and if something didn't go right he made it personal. In the court room it appeared that he was respected by other Attorney's and Judges as well. Several would stop and visit, when possible. One last note. Brett is one we believe that takes each client seriously and will work relentlessly to make sure everything is prepared and completed on time. It of course means that you have to provide him with any and all homework he wants from you. It was not uncommon for us to get an email late at night, early in the morning, and weekends as well. I Remember one time we spent all of Sunday in his office prepping for court on Monday morning. I would not hesitate one little bit to recommend Brett to any one, in any situation to represent them in a custody battle. I know I'm glad that we, didn't have to go against him.
