Kurt Larson has been representing personal injury clients in Missouri for more than 20 years. Prior to law school, Kurt graduated from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri, receiving a BA in English, with distinction. Kurt graduated in the top of his class from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1992, and thereafter spent the summer in Washington D.C., working with trial attorneys at the U.S. Department of Justice.

Kurt has always practiced in Missouri, and has always concentrated his practice in litigation. Before forming Larson Law Firm, Kurt spent seven years as a partner in a firm that took a high volume of personal injury cases. There, Kurt focused his practice on trying and settling cases primarily involving general personal injury litigation, products liability, premises cases, and commercial vehicle crashes.

In 2001, Kurt started Larson Law Firm with the goal of reducing his caseload to those cases in which justice demanded that clients have the full and uncompromised attention of a solid trial attorney prepared to take their case to trial if the need arose. Kurt’s success in the courtroom and his practice allowed him to devote a significant amount of time and resources to our community.

Kurt’s community involvement is diverse. However, one of his greatest projects is Safe and Sober. Founded by Kurt in 2004, the Safe and Sober program is designed to keep students and others from being injured in accidents by deterring dangerous and irresponsible behavior. Since its inception, Kurt has reached more than 110,000 Missouri high school students in 141 schools with his messages about safety and sobriety.

In addition to Safe and Sober, Kurt spends time volunteering at and sponsoring a number of local and state organizations, including: the DWI Task Force, the Underage Drinking Task Force, Ozark Greenways Trails, Drury University, the Ozark Trails Council of the Boy Scouts of America, the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association, and the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys.
