5 Stars and this I waited until resolution to rate my law firm because I wanted to be fair.  I had dismissed earlier counsel, a major risk for me, to hire W&P.  So many times in life we regret choices like these, but not this one.  It was THE BEST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE.     I want to be honest s...o you know what to expect.  The firm is not going to coddle you   If you don't ask, don't expect them to explain.  Annnnd, if you want them to explain, don't pull a Laura and panic or employ your own lawyerly presumptions to the mix… Ask and set a time frame in which you would like an answer.  This team is exemplary at what they do.  They got a better outcome than even earlier counsel claimed was possible.  Let me be clear, I am a prior felon who faced charges larger than anything I’d ever dreamed yet today I am home with my family enjoying my life.  I highly recommend them.  THIS IS YOUR WHOLE LIFE.  Who’s representing it for you? I will tell anyone that will listen you guys are thebright choice in defense. I would add, specifically, Taylon hand held me through some of the very emotional later parts of my legal ordeal. Taylon Sumners (“Taylon”) is the best! It’s really that simple, she is the BEST! Her insight, and ability to represent me in this matter was off the charts, and not measurable. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for her expertise, professionalism, and aggressiveness in handling my case. The ...thought of “surrounding yourself with “like-kind professionals” able to work at a high level proficiency and expertise beyond measure, this would describe her staff and associates. They were great to work with during this legal process, and my venture into the courts. This was the first time I had to deal with the courts within this capacity, and it was overwhelming. However, Taylon and her staff calmed me down, walked me through the process, expectations, procedures, and their strategy. When I spoke to other attorneys, they instantly recommended a plea agreement. Taylon took one look at the police report, and said we have problems with this, and how they executed my probable cause arrest. Knowing that the charges against me were frivolous, I was still concerned with how a judge would look at the matter. Taylon and her associates dissected every document, and was able to effectively communicate with the judge the faults, and many problems with my case. I understand a lot of people will say they did not commit this crime, and they’re being wrongfully prosecuted, you hear it all the time. But, I knew I was innocent of the allegations being made, and with the effective arguments Taylon presented, THE PROSECUTOR ENDED UP DROPPING / DISMISSING ALL CHARGES IN ONE OF INITIAL HEARINGS. I suspect the Prosecutor looked at Taylon, and instantly knew – they were no match for her strong advocacy, and defense in my case. I owe Taylon and her team more than I could ever express, or put into words. Thank you for giving me my life back!
