A friend of mine was detained under false identification. The warrant served on her was from a county hours away from her home and she was being held on an $15,000 cash only bond. After two days in jail and talking to countless law enforcement officers and attorneys. I was informed by the sheriffs a...t the county that issued the warrant that it would be close to two months before my friend would stand before the judge to present her innocence. I was told I needed a ruthless, aggressive attorney that could and would act fast. Taylon was referred to me as being the most aggressive attorney that fought for her clients like no one else. I immediately went to my bank to borrow the money to bail out my friend and retain an attorney. When I called Taylon I got the answering machine and just hung up. At this point I was losing hope and in the process of borrowing $15,000 to get my friend out of jail. Exactly 9 minutes later Taylon returned my call, I explained the situation and she stated in a very matter of fact way “no, she will not do another night in jail, I will have her out this afternoon, this evening at the latest” and “no you will not post bond, she was never served therefore there should not be a warrant”. Those were the only positive words I had heard in two days. Although I had my doubts I was reassured by Taylon that she was going to file the necessary paperwork “right now!” and would call me in a couple of hours when she heard back from the prosecutor. Exactly 1 hour and 19 minutes later she called me to confirm the filing and all we needed to wait on was the judge to sign off. She then told me she would let me know when I could go pick my friend up. 46 minutes later she called me to let me know the warrant was rescinded and my friend was to be released. I can not and will not ever be able to express how grateful I am to Taylon for her response to this matter. You should also know she didn’t stop at just getting my friend out of jail, she also got the entire matter thrown out as it should be. Her follow through to get this whole nonsense behind us took 2 days. This is one of the most bizarre, disturbing events that has ever occurred in my life. I realized just how powerless you are in this scenario, even if you are innocent to the extent of impossible, once you are detained there is nothing you can do. Except, there is one thing, you can call Taylon!

With my court case I have many priors for marijuana before it became legal. I have a prior DWI and this county is one of the hardest on DWI. Overall Taylon worked diligently to come to the best possible outcome with my case. She talked me through every stipulation in my plea deal and made sure I was ...willing to accept their plea. While I didn’t go to trial, I am overly satisfied with the outcome under the circumstances. Taylon is an amazing lawyer, has an immense knowledge of the law, and vital knowledge of the people involved in everyone. If you’re in a similar situation as I was I would advise you to have her represent you over anyone. Can’t give her enough props or better review for her hard work, and time in my case
