Biography
I have been practicing law since 1995. My focus of practice is in litigation, family law, and criminal law. I have been both a criminal defense attorney and a prosecutor.
I have tried over 100 cases before juries. As a prosecutor, I have prosecuted crimes ranging from driving offenses to capital murder. I worked as an assistant prosecuting attorney in Boone County for ten years where I was the first assistant for five.
While working as a Special Prosecutor for the Missouri Attorney General’s Office, and as a Boone County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, I handled many high profile cases that have been featured on such programs as 48 Hours, Snapped, Discovery Channel and CourtTV.

I know firsthand how difficult the court system can be for families. For several years I specialized in prosecuting crimes committed against children. My experience handling these types of cases enabled him to work closely with families and court personnel always striving to do what was in the best interest of the child.
