Biography
Robert Murray began practicing law in 1985. He spent his early years in general practice but soon found that work in criminal defense offered him some of his most rewarding work and has spent 15 years honing his skills in this area. Many of his clients were defendants in DWI cases, and he quickly became highly efficient at these cases. He opened Murray Law Firm: DWI Defense Center in May of 2007 in Columbus, MO. Unlike many attorneys, Mr. Murray does not just represent his clients in court- he will also advocate for them with the Department of Revenue to defend their driving privileges. Renowned in his field, Mr. Murray is frequently called in to give lectures on DWI and criminal defense. One of his most notable accomplishments includes invalidating Boone County’s speeding laws in 1998, which led to the dismissal of over 400 speeding cases.
