Dan got me a very good outcome from a excruciating divorce that look 2.5 years to finish. My ex was going out for blood, he even fired his first lawyer 1.5 years in because that guy was too decent and reasonable, and Dan managed it all with aplomb. He also served as my de facto life coach and therapi...st at points along the way, services which are often sorely needed during litigated divorces! Dan has the respect of the legal community in Columbia, which is something you should look for. I consulted several lawyers before choosing him. When a Columbia lawyer I had worked with in the past on an unrelated matter (minor traffic) recommended him without reservation, that clinched it. I was not disappointed. His services are not the cheapest, but this is a case of you get what you pay for.

Poor communication. The papers signed in his office was not was what sent into the courts and I had to hire another lawyer to fix the mistakes he made in my case. He made decisions with out consulting me and when I complained he sent me the email communications between him and the other lawyer provi...ng he had made decisions with out consulting me. Very disheartening. He did not push for me. Maybe it’s because I was a woman taking my ex back for child support modification and he didn’t agree. Would not recommend to any female to use him as your lawyer.

We Mr Pingelton to represent us in an uncontested adoption. We had many problems with him -did not submit court documents appropriately -when they were submitted our daughters name was was mispelled, her SSN was incorrect so everythin had to be resubmitted -he was extremely difficult to communica...te with and didn't return our calls in a timely manner. Ultimately we had to hire another lawyer to complete the adoption.
