Mariann Morgan

We consulted Mariann back in 2011 as we had gotten in over our heads with credit card debt, starting with supplementing income during a job loss back in 2006. I had been working 2 jobs and my husband worked full time and there was no hope for getting our debt paid down, the interest was accumulating... and I was at my limit physically and emotionally with the number of hours I was working and trying to maintain a household, etc... I felt so ashamed about the situation I had gotten in and felt we would be viewed negatively for resorting to a bankruptcy consultation. From the beginning, Mariann was very understanding of the situation and neither she, or her office staff, made us feel badly about why were contemplating bankruptcy. When we filed for Chapter 13, it was like a weight was lifted from us. Although bankruptcy is not an easy decision, and one that I ultimately never thought I would have to make, Mariann made the process as pleasant as possible due to her professionalism and knowledge. We are currently in our last year of Chapter 13. Over the last 4 years, we had some job changes and family changes (birth of baby), and Mariann guided us through these major life events with our interests at heart. I would highly recommend Mariann. You could not ask for a nicer and more caring lawyer and her office staff is phenomenal!

The thought of Bankruptcy scared me to no end, but with a decline in the economy and poor financial planning on my end, I didn't have any other options. Mariann talked me through everything, worked with me to understand what needed to be done, made herself available to me for answering questions, and... has a great staff to work with when she isn't available. I never want to have to go through this process again, but I would definitely recommend her if you are in a situation similar to mine.
