We consulted Mariann back in 2011 as we had gotten in over our heads with credit card debt, starting with supplementing income during a job loss back in 2006. I had been working 2 jobs and my husband worked full time and there was no hope for getting our debt paid down, the interest was accumulating... and I was at my limit physically and emotionally with the number of hours I was working and trying to maintain a household, etc... I felt so ashamed about the situation I had gotten in and felt we would be viewed negatively for resorting to a bankruptcy consultation.
