Katrina Ruth Richards

Ms. Richards holds licenses in Missouri and New Mexico, and currently practices as an in-house Litigation Attorney and Assistant General Counsel at Leggett & Platt, Incorporated.

Katrina began her career clerking for the Honorable Don. E. Burrell on the Missouri Court of Appeals – Southern District in Springfield, Missouri where she worked on a variety of civil and criminal appellate cases before joining theThe Hershewe Law Firm in 2010, where she worked as a litigation attorney until 2016. She was selected as a member of the National Trial Lawyers’ Top 40 Under 40. Katrina has co-chaired several trials, including a trial resulting in a 6.4 million dollar judgment in MacDonald County, Missouri which was included in Missouri Lawyers Weekly as a top verdict of 2011 and a 1.5 million dollar jury verdict in Marion County, included in Missouri Lawyers Weekly as a top verdict of 2010. In 2013, she was named an "Up and Coming Lawyer" by Missouri Lawyers Weekly.

Katrina is in the Young Professionals Network in the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce, working on recycling initiatives and offering service hours to local non profit organizations. Katrina is a member of the Resource Development Committee for the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity and has served as the secretary of the Jasper County Bar Association. She is currently on the board of Spiva Center for the Arts. Katrina is married and has three sons.
