Montella Eugene Smith II

I called Jayson (Montella's partner) because my son had a run in with a police officer who stopped him for a traffic violation and proceeded to search his car and passengers. Long story short - my son was sent to juvenile justice with some serious accusations. I have never dealt with Juvenile Justice...; Jayson and his partner Montella briefed us on the proceeding and our best course of action; we were just what we (parents) needed to know. However, beyond the JJ proceedings, Montella was great at explaining to my son what was wrong with what he did, what all of the possible consequences could be for him and the parents if something similar occurred again. Being an retired police officer prior to becoming lawyer, his words carried significant weight with my son and I believe that hearing how things really work first hand from them has helped keep my son out of further problems.
