I asked for his opinion about disciplining employees that resisted completing forms that my broker said was required to obtain an employee census for our company provided health care plan. I am confident that he researched the topic, identified any real or potential exposure, and gave clear guidance ...on how to proceed in the future to avoid any further exposure. He consulted with colleagues that specialize specifically in areas I had concerns, verified what he had learned, and then provided links to specific guidance related to the act itself and the DOL’s position when navigating the issue. He gave me a short case brief that also provided insight and further justified his interpretation.
