I am a trial attorney with 23 years of courtroom experience and an uncanny ability to communicate to jurors the suffering caused to my clients and their families by the negligence and gross negligence of others. I hold the two largest personal injury jury verdicts in Buchanan County History: $9,000,000 in 2015 for a developmentally disabled client who was raped by her caregiver's husband and a $7,215,000 verdict in a medical malpractice case against Heartland Hospital in St. Joseph, Missouri for the wrongful death of my client due to a failure to train its nurses or to enforce simple safety rules regarding the placement and care of IV's. In 2016 I obtained a $7,000,000 verdict in a wrongful death case involving the death of a camper at Lake Down Under Campground.
