Michelle Dee Carpenter

About Michelle: 

Michelle is Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Attorney.  Michelle has worked as a litigation attorney for her entire legal career, handling more than 40 felony and misdemeanor jury trials. Aside from jury trials, Michelle has successfully conducted heavily contested family law bench trials.  She has carved a niche in her practice to represent parental alientation matters and other high-level custody disputes. She previously worked as a Registered Nurse at North Kansas City Hospital and University of Kansas Medical Center in their levels I and II Trauma Centers. 

Michelle explains that it is the compassion and empathy that arises from a background in healthcare that meshes well with her legal practice. Further, it is her tenacity and seriousness that comes from working intensely in a highly stressful and chaotic Emergency environment that provides her with the skill to triage and handle legal matters strategically and acheive the best outcome possible.  You will not find a stuffy and boring attorney on the other side of Michelle's desk; rather, she is engaging and spirited, very knowledgable, and has acheived favorable results for her clients time and time again.
