Kathy was born and raised in St. Joseph, Missouri. In 1976, she graduated from the University of Arizona. In 1979, she graduated from the University of Missouri- Kansas City School of Law with her Juris Doctorate. Kathy has been an attorney at Kranitz, Sadoun & Carpenter, PC for 40 years and has devoted her practice to family law with a focus on divorce, child custody, guardianship, paternity actions and modifications.

Three generations of the Kranitz family have served the legal needs of the residents of St. Joseph and Northwest Missouri. Our law office is a family business that was originally established in 1919 by Theodore M. Kranitz. We serve our clients through a combination of legal skills and practical experience that comes from many years of practicing law.
