Kimberly Jean Scheuerman

For clients who are facing divorce, child custody or child support issues, Kimberly Scheuerman draws upon her expertise with the Court system to help them through their toughest times. She focuses on promoting her clients’ interests and, in custody cases, on achieving solutions that are best for the family as a whole.

“Years ago, when I went through a divorce, I didn’t understand all the legal procedures,” Kimberly said. “I wanted to be a knowledgeable resource who could explain the process to them in ways they could easily understand and make the process easier for them.”  That desire factored into her decision to earn a law degree and is what gives her an edge as a family law attorney.

Kimberly has facilitated very favorable custody settlements for her clients. Knowing the law and understanding the results her clients will likely get in court, she advises her clients in a way that will minimize their costs.  Being a strong advocate for her clients, Kimberly knows how to propose offers for settlement that are reasonable and fair and will ultimately obtain the best results for her clients.

Kimberly regularly serves as guardian ad litem as well, representing children when there have been allegations of abuse or neglect in divorce, custody, relocation and order of protection matters. As a mother of three, she understands the things that impact children.
