I was looking to have my parenting plan adjusted. Things started off pretty well in the beginning with her getting things going with the courts, reaching out to the other party’s attorney, her responsiveness, etc. and she always told me we had a strong case based on her findings. As the final court d...ate approached she stopped being responsive, wasn’t responding to my emails and phone calls and when we finally did connect she kept trying to steer me to avoid court because we don’t want a “knock down drag out fight”, which confused me since I was already prepared in my mind that court would more than likely occur and what happened to our “strong case”. I feel like her sudden change was due to the other party’s attorney and I honestly believe she was intimidated by them. Against my better judgement, I went with Lindsey’s guidance and we “settled”, if you can all it that, out of court. I had additional questions but I never got those answered by Lindsey after several emails and phone calls. After our “court date”, she became totally MIA and it’s a year later and she has never responded back to me so I had to take it upon myself to contact the courts to ensure things were finalized. I would caution anyone to use her due to her lack of follow through.

Lindsey Van Fleet is an excellent lawyer. She is incredibly knowledgeable about family law, but more importantly, she made me feel a lot better about the whole process. She struck the right balance between compassion and logical reason. She helped me get the best possible outcome from this sad sit...uation. I would recommend Lindsey to anyone going through a child custody case.
