Robert Anthony Thrasher

Robert “Bobby” Thrasher is a trial attorney and shareholder with Monsees & Mayer, P.C., representing clients throughout Missouri and Kansas in complex personal injury and sexual abuse litigation. With offices in Kansas City, Springfield, Branson, Lenexa, and St. Joseph, Bobby helps survivors and injury victims pursue justice after life-changing trauma caused by negligence, abuse, and misconduct.

Bobby focuses his practice on sexual abuse and child sexual abuse litigation, including cases involving boarding school abuse, institutional abuse, clergy abuse, and negligence by organizations entrusted with the safety of children and vulnerable individuals. He also represents victims injured in serious car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle crashes, dangerous premises incidents, catastrophic injury cases, and wrongful death claims.

Known for aggressive advocacy and strategic litigation, Bobby has helped clients recover significant compensation in high-stakes injury and abuse cases. He is dedicated to holding negligent drivers, trucking companies, schools, institutions, and corporations accountable while helping clients rebuild their lives after devastating injuries and losses.

Bobby earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Banking, and Real Estate from the University of Missouri before obtaining his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law. Since 2019, he has been recognized annually as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for his accomplishments in plaintiff injury litigation.
