Child Custody Modification

I started working with Stacey in 2019 and wished I would have found her earlier. Luckily I got Stacey now and she has helped me so much. I appreciate how she will tell me what I need to hear and not what I want and answers all my questions. She was always extremely effective and prepared for any hea...rings, discussions and trial. My relationship with my ex is extremely complicated and that spilled over to my son causing him to have a lot of problems. Because of Stacey I can do more for my son than I ever thought. I will keep Stacey as my lawyer going forward. She is the best!

Great attorney that helped me get through my divorce.

Through the ups and downs of my divorce, Stacey provided great advice and counsel. She had a great working knowledge of the system and helped me navigate the ins and outs. I would recommend her to anyone that wants direct and honest feedback. She was quick to respond and always took my call when I re...ached out. I appreciate all that she did to help get me through this process.

Stacy was a wonderful, very honest and attentive attorney. She was a tremendous help to my wife and myself, as well as her staff. Every stage of our case was made very smooth and was taken care of quickly. Thank you and your office staff for treating us with the utmost respect and care.

Professional and easy to work with

I contacted Stacey in 2015 after my now ex-wife left me. My ex left without saying a word and took the kids. She would not respond to texts, phone calls, or any other communication. It wasn't long before I realized I needed to contact an attorney so that I could re-establish communication with my kid...s and, ultimately, dissolve the marriage. I interviewed 4 different attorneys with questions I thought important at the time. A couple of them seemed over-confident, one of them seemed too ambitious, but Stacey seemed exactly what I was looking for. She had an adequate amount of experience though I can't recall exactly how many cases it had been at the time but it was more than the number of cases and years that spoke to me. She also had life experience which made me feel like she really cared. I hired Stacey and she took action immediately. She was very responsive to emails and took phone calls as quickly as she could, calling back as soon as possible if she was working on another case or had a court date. She was a valuable resource in filing all necessary paperwork and knew the court system and the judges involved very well. I am a bit of a procrastinator but Stacey was able to work with me to keep the case moving along. A month or so after leaving, my ex filed a false report of abuse with the police and they were forced to issue a temporary order of protection. Stacey offered sound advice and within a few weeks the order was lifted and my ex began to cooperate and allow me to see my kids. Throughout the case, my ex called child protective services twice. The first time, I was prevented from seeing my kids once again while they investigated. Stacey again responded swiftly and provided helpful advice. The investigation ended fairly quickly and I was reunited yet again with my kids. The second time the results were even faster and things started to look up. The tables eventually turned and my ex must have realized that cooperation was in her best interest. I give Stacey credit for this as well because my exes cooperation seemed to be in response to the judge signing a temporary order of custody in my favor. Stacey advised me not to pursue taking custody even though I was at that point legally able to do so and eventually the roller coaster started to calm down. Stacey skillfully directed me through negotiations with my ex and her attorney. A guardian ad litem was ordered for the kids and she supported me through this process as well. Stacey helped me work with my ex to put together a parenting plan which my ex and I are still following to this day. Stacey helped me sort out financials and assets such as debt, cars, the house, etc. and she was very attentive to detail. How did it all turn out? Probably about as great as a divorce can be expected. My ex and I work together and our communication regarding our children is very open and frequent. I already mentioned that we are following the parenting plan and it is working well. The children are doing well. Stacey helped me tie up any possible loose ends and, while I know not every divorce ends as well as mine did, I attribute much of the outcome to her dedication and professionalism. I have already recommended other people I know to seek Stacey Wullscheleger's legal counsel and will continue to do so. Thank you again, Stacey!
