Not Helpful But Very Judgmental

Lynn's information was provided to me as part of our EAP program for my employer after specifically providing details of my case, meaning that she is on file for them to be able to assist with the type of case I had. However, she was extremely rude throughout the whole process and not only did not at...tempt to actually help me but tried to shame me about the case and about the timing of the documents that were sent to me (which was completely out of my control). She then refused to provide any actual advice and was not helpful at all. If she is not willing to work with an EAP, that is fine, but that is something she should withdraw herself from instead of taking it out on the people who are given her information.

I am sorry that you felt this way, because often with an EAP program, I am not provided any details about a potential client. This means I only receive the potential client's name and the generic subject heading of a type of claim only - not the case number, jurisdiction, status, or questions of the member. Only after the free consult call and review of whatever documentation I am provided by the potential client, can I then offer an evaluation. Sometimes an evaluation may seem harsh, because the case/claim has progressed already, is time sensitive, i.e. already set for trial, or there may just be very few options available. Usually, I try to outline what options exist, which sometimes is the only help that can be provided. Just because we are part of an EAP program for consult/inquiry does not guarantee that the case will be accepted. I am available to discuss specifics with you if you have other questions or concerns, because I do try to assist those who call. (816) 260-5636 - direct. Good luck.

Thorough and knowledgeable

I was in an accident and the upcoming court date was giving me so much anxiety. I’m so incredibly lucky a family member recommended I contact her for my case. My questions were answered and my worries eased. I would definitely recommend her legal services!

"When I had my first civil trial as a solo practitioner I had a LOT of questions. Lynn was one of the attorneys more experienced than me that I turned to for advice because of her background in civil litigation. She quickly understood the nuances and complexities of my case and talked through them with me, which helped me immensely in my trial preparation. Today I remain impressed with the diversity of her expertise and experience. While her practice currently focuses on personal injury, but her abilities extend far beyond. Also, she is an upstanding, ethical person who fights hard for her clients!"
