Amazing lawyer

I found Jarret through a friend of mine that he was helping with a case similar to mine. He made the process of filing my suit easy and through him and his team’s hard work I was able to find closure. I cannot recommend him enough.

Excellent Laywer

Jarrett made sure through this whole process that we the client knew and understood all relevant information pertaining to our case so that we could make the best informed decision. Because of his willingness to actually take time to listen to his clients, he was able to take in all of the relevan...t information from the case, analyze it, and create a plan of action. He was very knowledgeable about the law, he explained that some of it came from his educational background and that the rest came from his years of experiences. I would definitely recommend he over and over again, he went over and beyond for myself and family. Thank you again.

When in doubt...don't give up

My husband and I contacted Jarret, after we had been told by another law firm here in Kansas City that told us our situation was a dead end. We could contact another attorney if we wanted to but he felt incredibly uncomfortable trying our case against a nationally well-known Property and Casualty In...surance Carrier. I was severely injured on another's property that was related to me. In this state, I was informed by the first attorney, that would go nowhere, and he had discussed it with many of his colleagues who agreed. The only good advice he gave me was possibly seeking the advice of another law firm. I am so glad I contacted this one. Jarret's firm returned my call immediately and after the first consultation with him I felt 100% better about the whole situation. Jarret disagreed with the negative report we had been given, and reassured us he would get the company to reimburse me for the losses from the first reconstructive surgery, and the subsequent one that would be needed in the future. He even allowed that the company was responsible for so much more and felt confident that he could win a suit against them, if it went to court, as my injuries were so severe and life changing. He laid out multiple pathways available for us to go, and didn't pressure us either way. It was a lengthy process, as the Insurance carrier went through several representative attorneys over several months in the initial stages. The insurance company wanted to force this case into court where they felt confident they would not have to pay out anything. He understood my reasoning for not wanting to put my relative through that. I simply wanted the company to honor their commitment to their contractual agreement when they cover someone's assets, and be responsible for my medical expenses. As an attorney, he could've stood to make a great deal more money, and so could we have, by letting it go to court. I have no doubt that he would've won that case, but he understood the family relational value was more important to me than the larger settlement. He stayed after the insurance company until they more than doubled their first offer - which was an insult considering how much of a financial hit, and personal loss I sustained from the injury. What they wanted me to settle for would've left me at a total loss, and facing a future reconstructive surgery still to come, without compensation again. He put up with our bad attitudes and remained confident when things didn't seem to be going anywhere with an obstinate company that thinks they will win in court due to state favoritism in the past. He was always straight forward and honest about the consequences of our choices, but left us to decide what we thought was the best route, and I really appreciated that. When it involves family it is hard to know what's best. Had it not been family I am absolutely certain that he and I would be awaiting a court date that I know we would've walked away from much more satisfied with the results; that justice had been served, and I was much better compensated for the actual injuries sustained. If I ever have need of another personal injury attorney, I won't hesitate to retain Jarret again. I feel totally comfortable at highly recommending him to anybody in need of legal assistence for personal injury. Thanks for everything, Jarret.

Professional, empathetic, and DELIVERS

Bottom Line Up Front: Jarrett was the best attorney I could have asked for and got me the justice I deserved. -- I needed to build a bodily injury case against a company. By chance, I was introduced to Jarrett by the original lawyer I had come to meet. I could see Jarrett was truly listening to what... I had to say and gave me his undivided attention. What also stood out to me during that initial meeting was that he apologized to me for what others had caused. As such, he acknowledged me more than the company I was building a case against. I was fully prepared for Hollywood’s depiction of over-bearing attorneys and thankfully, Jarrett is anything but that. He genuinely cares and is naturally empathetic. Jarrett immediately expressed how he would be able to approach this case and I agreed to hire him that very evening. He took a huge weight off of my shoulders with the assurance that the ones responsible for injuring me would be held accountable. Jarrett has a persistent approach and did not allow them to slow-roll the case in any way. Discussing the case with him was effortless as he gave us updates on a consistent and timely basis. All visits and briefings with Jarrett before and after were friendly, professional, and most importantly stress-free. He took the time to break down law jargon but also did a fantastic job in keeping the vernacular understandable for “non-lawyers”. My case required picture proof; to ease my fears he made sure I understood the process in which the images would be shared and destroyed post-case. At no point did I doubt him in the process and felt comfortable enough to trust he would have the utmost discretion and respect. Jarrett worked diligently to accomodate all of the participating parties schedules to set up the deposition and mediation. My deposition was nerve-wracking and he was able to calm my nerves just by being the supporting figure only speaking up when necessary. When the time came for mediation, we leaned heavily on him for guidance and he walked us through multiple scenarios with every offer/counter-offer. He did not pressure us one way or another and made sure final decisions were ultimately in my hands. There were no issues closing out the case and by the end we felt like we were was loosing a friend. For my case, he did a wonderful job creating a comfortable setting and a positive atmosphere. As a follow-up to the original case, Jarrett reached back out to me regarding another part of my case and inquired if I wanted to press forward. After I agreed, he had opened and closed the additional case in just a little over a month. I was mostly hands-off for the entire process and just like last time, Jarrett delivered results. The outcome of both cases were far better than I could have imagined and looking back it was all a pleasant blur. As nice and friendly as Jarrett is, be glad he’s on your side because he will fight tooth and nail to ensure you get the justice you deserve. THANK YOU Jarrett for guiding us through one of the more difficult times in our lives!
